Someone asked if I could handle it
To put up with hours of labor and pain
Now someone overheard what I’m going to college for
They told me I won’t make it in the world
Griping to the point of becoming female canines
Someone’s not pulling their weight in poultry
“Don’t worry, you’ll be back…” someone said.
I got told what they use to want to be
Someone has a little girl he never gets to see
I’m criticized by my educational status
Now someone is using another, or taking a longer time to wait
Anger, frustration, and stuck with their place in life
Completely immersed in the blue-collar work space
This is what I hear from day to day: noise
